Description: A slim figure, Pande is most often seen during the night. She has short-cropped brown hair and startling blue eyes that sometimes appear to glow. Pande has very pale skin due to her mostly nocturnal awake period. She has thin wrists that bear scars from bonding with her wher when she hatched, along with other scratches from fights and scraps she’s gotten into as a weyrbrat. Pande often parades about in masculine clothes and finds that people judge her for that – which is cool ‘cuz she doesn’t give a shard about it.
Personality: She seems to mostly share her wher’s personality in the fact that she is very crotchety. Pande is able to snap at someone one moment for a minor offense and then be politely, to offering them breakfast (dinner really) the next. Pande also has a minor problem with dragonriders (she was a dragon candidate before going to impress Pansk), because they often make fun her wher (provoking fights).
A very fierce individual, Pande holds her own ground and respects none who don’t deserve it. She’d tell the queenrider to her face (because saying it behind her back is cowardly and shameful) that she didn’t approve of her actions. That is, IF Pande ever encountered the/a queenrider.
But Pande is nothing if not devoted to her wher, she’s thrown herself into researching them and their habits (for example, whers communicating with each other, and whers communicating with wher handlers not their own as well as sharing a handler / having two handlers).
History: Pande grew up in the Weyr, and was scouted to be a candidate by a brown rider and his dragon. But later, out on the sands, she very nearly impressed a green (but the green passed her by in favor of another) and Pande decided that she didn’t like dragons (feeling very miffed) and set out to bond with the less popular, but very important watchwhers. It took two tries, but finally the mother wher let her in and allowed her to take an egg. The egg itself was a rather plain, smooth shelled brownish snot color. However, when it hatched (Pande had been drilled mercilessly on this) she bonded right away. However, Pansk (as the wher came to call herself) was no bronze as she had appeared at first, she was a very bronze colored wher, but still a gold. And Pande has been devoting all of her time to promoting whers over dragons and her research on them.

Wher color/description:
Large flat rustic gold female, generic Wher characteristics; heat sensitive eyes, small nearly flightless winds, very good sense of smell, Pansk does tend to have sharper claws and larger feet, and a thinner, more dragon-like body.
Wher personality: Pansk is on the higher end of aggressiveness. She is constantly hissing at everything. She is not fond of firelizards (and will try to kill them, or at least maim them) if they come near her. This gold Wher is also nearly fearless, she respects dragons because of her genetic disposition, but that does not mean she has to like them; and she doesn’t. She is often ‘heard’* by Pande grumbling about how much she hates them for being the ‘top’ of everything.
