Description: Raelia is tall and lanky, with sunbrowned skin raw from spending hours in the air. She has brown eyes and long, light brown hair she wears in a tight braid after the fashion of Lessa and Mirrim. When flying, she tucks the braid down the back of her flying jacket, in preparation for the day she will finally be allowed to fight thread with her beloved queen Itsuth. She is often seen in her flying gear, though when on the ground, she is not ashamed to remove some of the heavy clothing, often tying the fur lined jacket around her waist. She has high cheekbones and a small mouth and nose. Her body is fit and muscular from the rigors of being a dragonrider. In a world that idolizes music, Raelia is by no means an amazing singer, but she has a fair contralto and can carry a note pretty well.
Personality: Raelia is kind and caring. She is typically quiet, preferring to be alone with Itsuth and Faxfir than in the company of others. However, she knows how to speak her mind, a trait that can get her in trouble. She is always trying new things, even going as far as to go behind her Weyrleaders backs to explore places she has never been. She is headstrong, as well, and a constant headache to Morgatta. She is fascinated by space and Earth, spending much of her free time at Landing poring over the stories left behind by Aivas.
History: born in Keroon Hold, she was Searched one year ago when the Fort queen clutched and managed to Impress gold Itsuth. The two have been training diligently in hopes of joining the fight against thread.
Other: Fort rider, she came upon a clutch of fire lizard eggs that had recently hatched during an excursion to the Southern continent. Noticing that one egg was still struggling to hatch, she jumped at the chance and cracked the shell, saving the life of a white fire lizard, whom she named Faxfir. She is an apprentice sky-watcher nearing the rank of Journeywoman, as this is the profession she has happily chosen for herself for After.

Dragon personality: Itsuth is a curious young dragon, and always willing to go along with whatever stunt her rider is going to pull next. Being a queen, she is proud of her station, though she is careful not to boss the other dragons around too much. Like most dragons, she loves sunning herself and adores swimming, thus it is no surprise that her favorite place is the Southern continent, often going for a swim while her rider reads at Landing. She is protective of Raelia, and is not afraid to disagree if she thinks the girl is going too far with an escapade.
