History: Charks Hatton was born on Io to a family decorated with military honors, a tradition he was determined to continue from a young age. His eighteenth birthday, he woke up and went down to sign up for the military. It wasn’t long until his superiors noticed him, and he rose quickly to command his own wing from his battleship Benden, named for a famous historical Admiral. A brilliant soldier and strategist, he quickly rose through the ranks to become a rear admiral, and until his recent crushing defeat on Libra, he was on the short list to become Admiral. But all his plans went awry just recently. During a routine tour of Libra, his wing was ambushed by a Nathis fleet, and Benden was the only surviving ship. Forced to make a tactical retreat, Hatton directed his troops to a little traversed section of space in the Sagittarius Sector, where they have just come upon a derelict spacecraft with the designation Yokohama.
Other: Hatton is determined to make up for his blunder at Libra, no matter what. His Uncle is a member of the Federation Council, giving him a lot more power than one would think. He is constantly trying to find ways to improve the military, determined to end the war with the Nathis once and for all.
